I think it could be a bit usefull to add to the setup's descrition a mp3 to make a link between the words and the sound

    - Alto Buescher Aristocrat serie one
    - Mpc Ralph Morgan 5L
    - BG standard L12 ligature
    - ZZ Vandoren reeds 3

    Caravan (Ellington)

Kessler Custom Deluxe red brass alto with copper bow and bell
J&D Hite Classic M68 hard rubber mpc
    D. Bonade brass lig
    Hemke #3 reeds

Just got the horn last week. Haven't played alto regularly in over 30 years, so I'm still playing around with the mpc, although I'll probably stick with the Hite, since it's what I use on tenor.

E.M. Winston 303GD Alto, Meyers 6M (had this for a long time now), Rico Royal 3, Pad Saver.

Then there's the lyre, ligature and neck strap I found in the case and use.

OK - you can stop yawning now.

I play on a Metal Beechler 8, Vandoren Java 2 reed.

I have one VI alto, a 58xxx and I forget what my other VI is (it's in the shop getting overhauled, but I think it's either a 114xxx or a 144xxx).

The 58xxx is more or less my straight ahead horn.

and the other one is more of my pop sax horn.

Like RCNELSON, my info is in my signature area, but I'll reiterate it.

A late 80s/early 90s (112xxx, I think) Keilwerth SX90R gold lacquer, which should soon be getting a new neck, and an original early Babbitt STM 10*, which will soon be sent off for refacing. For reeds, I'm kinda on the fence right now, so add Hemke 3-1/2 and Zonda 3, substrength G. I'm looking to replace the BG Revelation Jazz lig I'm using now with either an FL Ultimate or, preferably, an Ishimori Woodstone.

Rovner Dark (The dampening doesn't bother the Lakey too much, and I haven't found any other ligature that works as well with the Lakey, including Optimum, Selmer, Rico H Series, Rovner Light, etc.)
