It'll be hard to do that since new improved models seem to be coming out monthly! However, I shall continue to listen to your reviews until one of us goes first.

Good luck with that, Steve. I'm betting, though, that new models are being created faster than you can test them.

And "Happy Birthday!" to you. 50 was such a cute age, I only wish I could remember it. It seems like such a milestone, and then it fades in the rear view mirror like a mediocre diner on a road trip.

    Thank you for your contributions.

Finally got the review up tonight of the D'Addario Select Jazz tenor sax mouthpieces. These are great piece for those who want more power than a hard rubber Otto Link can give you. I reviewed a 7 and a 8 side by side with Rigotti Gold 2 1/2 Strong and 3 Light reeds. Hope it helps in your search.........

Hey Steve - Keep the reviews coming. Congrats on the upcoming 50th. To avoid Dr. G's mediocre diner experience, throw a big party. Mine was a blast. Played some sax, the wife got up and sang for the first time in years, she's been in the band ever since, and we now get to go out together again. Great night.

Up late finishing a review on the 10mFan Black Widow tenor saxophone mouthpiece tonight. Been playing this for about a month and really love it. Big sound with loads of power for the dance set or the jazz set. Hope the review and sound clip helps. Steve

Funny that you comment on the qualities of Rigotti 3L vs 3M. I was starting to wear out my 3L reeds, and switched to 3M just over the weekend, in the hope that I wouldn't blow them out as fast.

Thanks for the review on the Intrepid, Steve. It has become my go-to mouthpiece for big band soloing and section work.

Beautiful fat and warm tone with lots of character.
Both clips sound great. My preference leans a little more to the lighter reed though.

Yeah, most people seem to like the lighter reed clip. I felt like I could only get to maybe an 8 on the volume scale with the 3L. The 3M I could take her to 11.
