Keep in mind that most clips on the web are in mp3 format. If the person doing the encoding does not choose a hi-resolution setting, even the best tone will end up sounding abrasive.

My clips are at a pretty reasonable rate, though you can still detect that it's compressed.

Hey, this link is alright... I hear that this player isn't that bad...

I made this site while waiting in an airport. There is a thread somewhere on the forum about using iWeb, an Apple program, so I built the sight for that thread. It was pretty quickly put together, but, its kinda neat. There is a good recording of Holy Roller in the audio section.

Enjoy. Just dont laugh at me!

Just a comment about the Nobuya Sugawa site. If you have a browser that translates, or if your up for a challenge, use the japanese version of the site. There are many more options, including his studio picks, personal journal, and many more audio samples. All the best, -Sugarsax

That recording may be good but your link is definitely not, even with the extra http removed.

I've tried that and it's really hard to understand because the translation service is bad. Maybe he will come out with a new English site. It seems like http://www.sugawa.com/ is in the works.

If you have never checked these guys out, you definately should. I think they are one of THE BEST quartets around.

Mi-bemol Saxophone Ensemble. One of the finest ensembles I've ever heard period. They where the only performers that I remember to get a standing ovation at the WSC. The members are very young too, like in college.
