There is another "I never saw another butterfly" by Lori Laitman. also beautiful.
The Ticheli Songs of Tagore is definitely nice.
I think Ellwood Derr did another song cycle called Six Songs of Sundry Sorts. Much more light-hearted and comical.
awholley, do you know how to find a recording of the Nin piece for alto & mezzo...there's a mezzo at my school that has the most luscious, beautiful sound (and body) that I've ever seen. i'm melting just thinking about it...

My girlfriend is one of those very sexy mezzo's. I would love to do this piece, the Nin, with her on my next recital. Does anyone have a translation of the text by chance? It would be nice to know what she is singing about. Thanks for the info.

dornpub.com should have it. Or else Eble. It's always a good idea to try those two sites first before asking where to find a copy of a score (not trying to be be one of "those guys" on here getting snarky with a n00b, I'm just saying in a friendly way).
Wanamaker also has a piece for sax and soprano ... I don't know it yet, but he's said he likes it - and he's very critical of his own compositions. You can email him through his website: www.gregorywanamaker.com
Harry Kinross White uploaded a video recently of a rather modern piece called "Geist und Wurst" for voice, alto saxophone and piano. It's a real showcase of how well he blends - a dynamic and unusual work that seems to bounce around on its own.
His email is in the video description and you can contact him to get the music.
