This may be the wrong place to place this but . . . who's to know?
I am looking for the source of this anecdote:
A well known saxophonist just finished a set and a know-it-all critic from the audience confronted the player.
"Man, (derisively), you sound just like Charlie Parker."
Extending his sax to the critic, the player said, "Here man. You sound just like Charlie Parker!"
Who said that? Thanks.
