    Default Buzzy reeds

I accidentally chipped one of my good reeds, and now it has a pleasant buzzy sound. It's kind of fun to play. Has any reed maker ever purposely produced a buzzy reed?

I just ordered the Flying Goose Reeds. $12 for 10. Has anybody bought a Flying Goose reed clipper? It's practically free.

Oh dear. I was only kidding. The Flying Goose clarinet reeds I tried a few years ago made the clarinet sound like a "kazoo". I hope for your sake they have gotten better. I need to be more careful with my sarcasm on this forum.

Yes, saxoclease, use the sarcasm and then just say, "I'm kidding!" Maybe they'll work out.

Hi Christian. Which model/material of Fiberreeds did you try? Which was the buzziest?

    Thanks, SS.

I tried the Natural Classic and the Hemp. Both were equally buzzy.
