I got the chance to give one a blow a week back and loved it! I think it freaked Mark out a bit because I've been on pieces with more baffle like the Black Widow, but there's something about this Classic piece that is gonna knock a lot of players out. It's got a nice step baffle at the tip, and like all my other 10mFan pieces, it's an insanely flexible piece that does what I need, it doesn't force me to do what it wants. Years and years ago, a friend had a hard rubber early babbit 8* Otto Link tenor piece that just was insane. It could do anything. I always wanted to buy it, and he'd never sell it. The classic model I tried is better than that Link was. It projects well, and it can get bright if you blow a bit harder, but man is it just a sweet sound. Mark, when can I get an 8*?!?

Man, thank you. So glad you dug it when you got a brief chance to try it with Benny.
When you called me to tell me how killing it was, I was very surprised because it just wasn’t the type of piece I thought you would enjoy, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear that and happy to be wrong. Now that I just read that you had an Early Babbitt that you dug a lot, it makes sense. This is definitely better than the Early Babbitts so I know you will enjoy it. I will get you the 8* prototype so you can get to know it for a few days, and record something for me, for sure. I will give you a shout and should be able to get you that piece in a month after you are settled in from your move back to Pittsburgh.
    THANK YOU

I would like to say, I did not make this piece to be the loudest mouthpiece you have ever played.
I did not make this piece to be the brightest mouthpiece you have ever played.
I did not make this mouthpiece to be the fattest sounding mouthpiece you have ever played.
I did not make this mouthpiece to be the most free blowing mouthpiece you have ever played.

WHAT I DID DO, is make an original piece that is incredibly well balanced, rich sounding with a phenomenal core sound, CLASSIC SOUNDING, a piece that has great power and flexibility, a piece that can be played loud and as soft as you can possibly blow and the sound will not disappear, and a piece that records incredibly well. The perfect straight ahead piece that has it all, with a classic focus to the sound. A piece that vintage mouthpiece lovers will love.

Working with Eric Falcon is a joy and every piece we come out with turns out beyond expectations, because we won't stop short of that.

On a side note....Jeff Rupert called today to tell me he is just loving this piece. He said he's listened back to the recordings and he loves the sound he gets from it. Keep in mind, it was only recorded on an iPhone!

I hope he has time to do a recording with piano or a small group.

I know you guys will love this piece immensely and I can’t wait for these to come out shortly.
    All the best, Mark

Great weekend of orders, thank you.

I know these audios help you make your decision, and we will have more audios coming as the Prototypes get around.

Jay Thomas wrote me from Japan on tour, and told me that he’s already telling everybody there about this mouthpiece. He is very excited about it!

Keep the orders coming and get on the list as soon as you can.
    This is a fantastic mouthpiece!

    All the best, Mark

Someone had asked if we can make an 11 tip.
Yes, if you feel you need that size, we can make it happen...

99.99999% will order between 6-10*, but we can assist if you need something extra huge.

Thanks bro....yep, an 11 tip. I'm sure Eric could do an 11* too, if someone really needed that.

Those days are gone for me.
I used to be one of these guys that liked to throw large amounts of air into the horn, but I have gone to medium tips and enjoy it a ton.

I have a nice clip coming from Benny Benack from a live gig he just did.
It will probably be posted this weekend.

It’ll show some of the funkier side of the Classic mouthpiece.

Incredibly versatile mouthpiece like all of my 10MFAN hard rubber mouthpieces.

Just talked to the engineer, and he told me that he will have the first run of THE CLASSIC blanks finished the end of this coming week!

The blanks will then be given to Eric to do all the hand finishing. The first large group of orders will be filled in about 3 weeks or maybe slightly less.

If you want to get on the order list, this is the time to do it. Just email me at my email address.

Doug Webb sounds so amazing on this piece, as do all the other guys in the clips! You can tell this is yet another great piece that doesn't fight the player!
