I love a good Sop..I know good ones too.. I played VI's and Series horns, also many vintage..now I have a cheapo Kessler model..feels spongy like a toy but it actually sounds pretty good..I'll play it 'til it falls apart

I sold my S880 Sop just over a year ago as it was not being played enough. ( concentrating on My newly acquired 82Z Tenor.) but thought to get a cheapo to get back to it. I picked up off eBay a Gear4Music damaged Sop. Last week ( front F screw missing) Rosedale intermediate for £120. Amazed at how good the tuning is even with my old reeds. The build is not bad either.
A pic of how to achieve the perfect embouchure.
