Default WTB Medusa Goldbrass Tenor - 3 Necks

If you've got one and want to sell it let me know. I've got the same horn in alto that I love and I'm pondering cutting the herd down to one alto, tenor, soprano and bari.

For sure but with retirement lurking in a year or two, I'm considering being fiscally responsible. Of course my wife will be horrified when she realizes what I had invested in my non-paying pastime!!!

Kind of tongue in cheek as my wife stopped asking about new arrivals years ago. But then I don't ask about purses, why we need to remodel our kitchen, etc... Bottom line is I don't need as many horns as I own and never have the time to play them all, so feel a bit guilty about that.

Back at you Steve. Was really nice selling a horn to a SOTW member who could just drop by the house to try it and take it home.

Still looking and please don't offer other horns for sale here or by PM. I own a few tenors and have tried many, so I'm pretty clear on what I'm after at this point.

My late music store owner friend had one in his leftover inventory, and I think his widow still has it. Do you want me to ask?

She does have a never sold tenor. She wants $2400 for it, but is open to offers. I'm not sure it's ever been played at all. I remember seeing it over there, but that was a good while ago.

Right, I reacted like an angry soccer mom, lol! I actually never left, though I did pick up a Borgani Jubilee tenor to try. it wasnt quite right and I left it with Les Arbuckle a couple weeks back to be sorted out. He found a couple leaks in the bell keys right away and said it just needed some adjustments, a few firmer corks, etc... Unless it blows my 2001 tenor away, I will be selling it soon. My goal is to thin the herd to one tenor, alto, soprano and bari, which means lots of horns for sale soon!

So you already have a model 2001. Just curious: What do you hope to gain with the three neck model? I have played the nickel neck and also the copper one and either beat the standard brass neck for me.

Oops. I meant to write: "Neither one beat the standard brass neck."

Oops again! By "copper", I meant goldbrass.

At times like this, i really wish we could edit in the Marketplace section!

Just planning to keep one tenor and I like the variety in tone the three necks provide on my alto. Figured the goldbrass tenor would follow suit.
