Years ago, I had an Antigua soprano with a Yani neck and it improved the sound quality and even the intonation a bit. I now have a Kessler Solist bari, and I'm wondering if the same thing would work since they're based on a B901. Anyone tried this?
I can't say that this will be the case in your instance, but I have found baritone neck changes to make less difference to alto and tenor.
I have 3 necks for my YBS61, the original, a Phil Barone, and a Jupiter neck.
I prefer the look of the Barone neck but really can't perceive any difference in the tone or tuning between either of them.
