Default F/S Keilwerth for Schenkelaars, Toneking IV baritone (low Bb)

This is, although branded Schenkelaars, a low Bb Keilwerth Toneking type IV baritone .

The same horns that were sold as King Tempo (although that one had one double arm) or Couf, Bundy Special & Schenkelaars.

This has straight toneholes and is nickel plated . The horn some signs of use but very minor battlescars, but all in all, see pictures, is in very good state. Comes in a VERY robust old case.

    First of all shipping.

I cannot ship this via post or courier! These limit shipping to 100cm maximum and this will be longer than that. It is possible to make special shipping arrangements with couriers but then the price becomes ridiculously high so, letís not go there.

This can only be picked up in The Netherlands!

So if you have a way to come to the Netherlands or have anyone pick this up for you ( a commercial truck driver coming to pick up flowers or something like that).

I have had people coming to pick up horns from Belgium, Germany, France, England... it is possible and, if you come by train or bus even relatively cheap and you can visit Amsterdam.

Having said this , because of the local pick up, payment is therefore cash in hand.

    I am asking Ä1500.

I have sold a few of these and they are always great players. The last was bought by a German repairer who obviously sold it for much more in his shop.

If this was in the US, I'd grab it. I have the Couf Superba ii version

I forgot to say that this baritone has a floor peg.

This is probably too short to play in a standing position but it is certainly more than appropriately dimensioned to play sitting on any chair.

I had the pleasure to meet milandro in person and of course I had to give this bari a blow... I used a modern Vandoren V16 B7 mouthpiece and ZZ reeds.

This is a very easy speaking horn with a big fat tone. The ergonomics are modern and the horn feels comfortable in my hands, much like my YBS-62. In terms of design, this bari has a rather industrial/no-frills look.

So, this would in my eyes really be the ideal horn for someone looking for a ďmodernĒ low Bb bari at a good price point.

It was my pleasure to welcome you in my new home !

You are most certainly invited to see the improvements which weíve made since then!.

Weíve also much enjoyed the great wine which you were so kind to have brought along.
