    Default 1968 Zephry Alto

Hii. Just want some info on my new-to-me Zephyr Alto. SN 433 xxx. I like it a lot. Ihearaboutthe "good" years, but not much about this vintage. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats! How would you describe your Zephyr's tone and ergos?
A little bit louder and a little bit worse.

Well, body was still the same as the classic ones, but the keywork was redesigned....

I'm comparing it to my YAS21. I've heard that these Yamis have a bright sound. The Zep. has a more mellow, (I'd say rounder), sound, in comparison to the YAS221.
Re. Ergos: Zep. has definitely more awkward left pinky keywork, particularly the G# and C#.
I think I'll persevere with the Zephyr and its' awkward keywork, 'cause I like the sound.

    That's the spirit!
A little bit louder and a little bit worse.
