Getting a repad that's turning into a rebuild on my trusty old Silver '68 VI Tenor..I mail ordered the finest Kid Pisoni's and custom O versize Brass resos from Tenor Madness..wasn't cheap. Now my local guy has had my horn 3 wks already and after a few conversations wow he's doing the whole enchilada..cleaning. tube straightening, some corks felts etc etc, man am I stoked. I played the horn since '81..it was unplayed and looked brand new when I bought it. Many miles and memories, the VI never let me down.

yeah baby..got text yesterday tech says my mail-order Tenor Madness pads were a bit tight but all fit with no replacements necessary.

TM was great about knowing the VI serial numbers and fitting my horn perfect unseen.

should be done next week, I sent my DG Super King out for a re-fresh too.Bang Bang...
