hi guys, had a couple of questions about overtones that i need help with.
i'm really working on getting my upper register stronger and nicer, and i'm doing daily work with overtones. anyway, i've been consistently getting the third partial on the b flat, b, c and c sharp overtone series. i was just wondering how i can get the fourth, fifth and sixth partials to speak. i'm sure part of it is simply experience, which is fine. i don't expect to work on this for a few weeks and see serious improvement. but, what can help me to get those upper partials to speak, from a physical point of view? i've done a bit of research and don't fully understand the throat/vowel thing guys talk about.
help here would be appreciated!
