Default F.S. Mark Spencer tenor mouthpiece

I have decided to sell my Mark Spencer piece.
It is silver plated bronze or brass.
Tip measures around .118 on my gauge.
Has a nice step type baffle with a lake in it followed by a large chamber.
This is an outstanding piece that can do it all.
This is one of his earlier pieces.
These are extremely hard to come by and Mark is no longer making these or any pieces I believe.
Tip and rails are all good with no issues.
There is some plating loss in a couple of spots.
    Selling without ligature and cap.
$770 USD plus shipping from Australia.
    PayPal personal.

PM me for info or pics.

This fantastic piece is still available, but be warned I have been playing it again recently and can't guarantee it will remain for sale for too long.
May consider trade for original Florida STM no USA 8-10 tip.

    That's probably for the best!

I have one of these and I can't really think of anything that could cause me to part with it. These are incredible mouthpieces with a pretty unique design.

    You're right.
I had a moment of weakness where I thought I could part with it.
    Thankfully that moment has passed.

    Hey Phil
This is one of his very early pieces and has no markings apart from Spencer around the shank.
    Also no bite plate.
Made in his preferred tip opening.

As a side note I was told recently that it is very likely that this piece was made just a few hundred metres up the road from my place.
I thought this was kind of a cool thing to find out.

Nick, you should start your own mouthpiece line now Mark Spencer did stop. Just make them from warp-iron, I know you're good with that !

By the way, I bought a Mark Spencer refaced Master Link (he opened it to a 9 tip) from Philip last year, which seems to have been a kind of prototype for the one you have.

Mark actually worked on that piece way more recently. Probably 2013, I remember talking to him about it as he.was doing the work

How does it play Peter? I was also tempted by that master link when it was for sale last year.
