Default Maslanka: Give Us This Day

Has anyone performed Give Us This Day: Short Symphony for Wind Ensemble by David Maslanka? If so, let me know if you have any tips, technical or interpretive, for playing the saxophone parts (esp. 1st alto). Thanks.

Zero, eh? You guys don't know what you are missing! This piece is zesty and fun to play, although it does present challenges at both ends of the range: a bevy of squealing high F#'s (not easy to get a section in tune on these), and some fast, trill-like low B to low C# triplets (Q. What fingering does the venerable Rubank chart suggest for the low B-C# trill? A. None! The pattern is described as, "Impracticable.").

I played this piece, though I didn't play saxophone on it so I'm pretty much useless on advice. It's a great piece. I find Maslanka to be hit or miss but I think he was really on when he wrote this one.
