you are right, apologies, but when I was there, recently, I didn’t see it, they are difficult to miss, must have been at the back of the shop and out of sight
they say they ship for $40, I very much doubt that! however if that is all they are going to charge make sure they pack it well and insure it, because I doubt that $40 would even simply cover insurance let alone shipping.
Well, typically bass saxophones by many other brands are way cheaper.
Not so long ago there were a Keilwerth Toneking bass and a Noblet bass, both for sale in the NL and both sold for €5000, a Conn in bad shape went for the same amount a few years ago (before the crisis) I doubt that it would fetch as much.
$10,000 is an asking price, whether they will get it remains to be seen.
The eBay seller with Conn / Wurlitzer replied to my message saying the buyer fell through and offered it for $6k shipped to the US. That's a very fair deal for anyone in the market.
