Hey all, could anyone please help me understand enharmonic modulation using pivot chords? I attached an example that includes this modulation. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
In your example 1, the pivot chord happens at the end of bar two.
"Pivot" since it is a dominant-related chord of G minor (original key) and a dominant-related chord o E minor (destination key)
"Enharmonic" since in the pivot chord that Eb should be spelled D# when related to the destination key.
(If I remember that properly, after 30 years....)
