Very hard to find, I have been lucky enough to find two of them in my life. The first was in the case of a chewed up old Bari Sax in a local public school, and I swapped it out for a brand new student model MP. Generally the tip openings are small like closer to .80-.90 and these need decent refacing. But I thought it looked interesting, nice rubber and nice design. I had John Van Wie open it up to .100 and voila, after I had him take the baffle down a drop, I had the best Bari Sax MP ever. Then somehow I spotted one on Ebay about 5 years ago and picked it up very cheap. That one I had set up by Mojo opened to .110 and its also a monster player.

I believe you...Wagner Hr 0.100 is my current setup for tenor : a marvel. Since, I have sold all my tenor metal mpcs.....
A baritone one is my next goal.

I wasn't so crazy for the alto and tenor versions of these, both of which I have tried... But the Baris are really special. After he set it up, Mojo told me if I ever wanted to sell it to call him first.

Yes, these are nice for a big dark sound on bari. I used to have a Keilwerth.

Thanks for pointing this out! Now i have 3 of these rare gems!!! This one will probably go to Norbert Stachel for a opening up. Once properly set up at .100-.110 these are the best bari sax mouthpieces on the planet. Heres a taste of my DJH modified Bari and custom Mojo setup Wagner bari sax mouthpiece.

I have an unmarked Wagner bari piece. Smaller opening but a monster player - I'm thinking about having it opened up and keeping it, but PM me if you're still interested.

Just curious, how does that one tune on your 12M?

Turns out that as much as I enjoyed that horn, it was worth more to someone else ... so I parted with it a few months back.

Understandable, but I must say you did sound excellent on that one.

Update: I just got my Wagner bari mouthpiece back from Brian Powell, and It's a MONSTER! This thing is an amazing player! BP opened it from the original .089" to a .110", and cleaned up the facing, curve, tip, tip rail, etc. as well as evening up the baffle. It's an incredible piece now. Huge sound, tons of punch & brightness, loads of bottom end, and the easiest high & altissimo range of any bari piece I've ever played. Big thanks to Brian for the great work on it!

If anyone wants one, I have one of these pieces with no brand on it and just the number 4 on the side. In great state!

Powerful, but I don’t really play baritone. It came with a horn that I’ve bought for selling.

It is noticeably louder and more aggressive than the Selmer S80 C* or the Yanagisawa 5 that I have.
