I remember that pic with the horns. So sorry you lost your good pal.

Kitty Foyle is 18 too (we think - she was a shelter cat).
She doesn't give a durn about saxophones, but sends a purr your way.

I'm very sorry for your loss. A friend sent me this poem last year after I had to put my dog down. He was my best friend, and I still miss him every day, but this helped:

    A POEM FOR THE GRIEVING

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die...

That's a long time and it must be tough. My sympathies, Thomas.

Ruby's preferred make of sax is any that's still shut in its case.

Sorry for your loss, Thomas... Been there, and it hurts...

I lost my black cat, Nubian D. Cat a few years ago. He was a sweet guy.

Cats are wonderful pets, but they age too rapidly.

Currently, I have a nice Calico named Attitude (because she has one). She's almost 12, and is starting to mellow out.

    Hang in there, brother.
Sorry to hear of your loss.
Go take out your horn and play rastus a sweet song.
