Reference Necks on a Mark VI tenor

I was wondering if anyone on here has tried using the reference necks on a VI tenor with good or bad results. My VI tenor could probably be greatly improved with a better neck so I've been trying to decide what to try/potentially buy.

My current neck blows edgy and quite spread, especially from :line6: and above. These notes have little to no "slots" which makes intonation difficult and unreliable. High C is by far the worst of the notes in the sense of lack of a slot. It is very sharp and difficult to center. The lower notes are much less responsive on my neck than on others I have gotten a chance to try.

I would like to find a neck that helps these issues, without sacrificing the VI-ness.

Thanks,
