Dear friends and colleagues,
It's my pleasure to invite you to an all-day event being held here at SUNY Potsdam on Saturday, February 20 -- the Crane Saxophone Chamber Music Festival, a day devoted to chamber music of any sort that features the saxophone. This year's performers include high school and college groups from around the North East, including Youngstown State University, Penn State University, Stony Brook University, SUNY Schenectady and SUNY Potsdam.
Our featured guests are the H2 Ensemble (comprised of members of the Fischoff winning H2 Quartet), the Mana Trio (members of the Coleman winning Mana Quartet) and the Creviston ~ Fader Duo (I am lucky enough to work with one of the world's finest classical guitarists, in a saxophone and electric guitar duo). There is a schedule overview listed below.
Please join us for a wonderful day of small ensemble music!
