Are there any recorded piano accompaniments to the Creston Sonata? I'm performing it for an audition, and I don't want to perform without one, but it would be tricky to find a real accompanist. Thanks!
Your district lets you play along to a recording!?! Cool...
Our kids are required to have a live accompianist.
Thankfully I don't have any trouble finding one, and he refuses payment.
SaxMoose,
Talk to your band director. They may know of a student that has the necessary skills to play for you.
Most of the students in my area that play for other students in these situations usually don't charge very much for their services.
It's so much nicer to have a live pianist for these things.
A little more of 'you' is allowed to come out during the performance.
yeah, get a doctoral student...that piece is harder for piano than for the saxophonist.
