Needs to grow up. Very immature. Blocks if rude. Obviously doesn't care. Don't expect him to help you.

Sounds like a great web site for those of us that love to play sax. I just joined and want to introduce myself. I'm a retired airline pilot and played clarinet in HS. Always wanted to play sax and three years ago bought an alto then last year bought a tenor. Have been playing tenor almost exclusively and having what I consider great success self teaching with the play along CD's now available. My latest search is to find a metal mouthpiece as this seems to be the next logical step in advancement. I tried Michael Peloquin's tapes and was disappointed to say the least. He advertises a complete money back guarantee but provides no return address. If anyone on the forum has returned same for a refund would you please send me the return address............Thank you, Bud

Please move the thread "FS: 1930 Selmer Paris Tenor " to "Advice for buying sax ..." category. It was posted to "Horns for Sale" category by mistake. Thanks, arya44

Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to delete a thread myself or can I ask you to do so. You see I posted a thread in hopes of creating a dialogue in a subject matter that I thought would get musicians to engage in a constructive respectful manner. Sadly I can tell that things are only going to get hostile. I do not wish to contribute to anything that will not serve this forum, as respect the idea for which this exists.. Please help, thank you in advance Zahiir Cruz

Im sorry to bother you but I have not been able to figure out why I have "Email problem" in red, next to my profile avatar. I believe Im getting no notifications to subscribed threads as a result.

    Do you have any suggestions?

I am a saxophone instructor; my degree is from University Maine-Music education; I am a former saxophone major. I own an Antigua black alto ( professional) but my Antigua black tenor with Berg was stolen. I really had a matching set!
I'm in the market for another tenor. On craigslist Florida is a Carl Fisher tenor. They have 500.00 on it. It must be a stencil horn. Can you tell me any info on this tenor... I can get a serial #. It would probably have to be rebuilt. The engraving looked like an old professional horn. Send me any info you have; acoolsax@yahoo.com. Thanks Harry, Tom
