    Hi Roc,

I sent you this by PM earlier this week and am wondering whether you had a chance to look at it.

I'm a sax player from Jerusalem, Israel. I will be coming to Louisville this summer to attend the Aebersold camp (7/10-15). So here's my problem: My main horn is baritone. Problem is that I won't put my baritone in the belly of a plane. I've contacted all the music stores in Louisville to ask about renting a horn for that week, but have come up empty.

Now, I see from your "signature" on message that you are not a bari player (or, at least, that you do not own one). I'm wondering if you know of any players in Louisville who would be willing to rent me their bari for the week. If you do and can put me in touch with them, I would be most grateful.

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Please respond to, since my visits to SOTW are spotty.

Just wanted to say that Eric was great to deal with in our recent transaction. He purchased a 1955 Conn 10m tenor from me. He was easy to communicate with, and there were no surprises. And I'm happy to say he was happy with the horn as well. Eric's a good guy to deal with. JT

I'm asking 3000 just because that it is in completely original condition with even the original pads. I got to play with your grandfather quite a bit with John Roy's big band. he was a well respected musician around here. I have the sax at Mel Owens shop now for some adjustments. It plays but needs re seating of one or two pads. Let me know and we can get together and let you try it. The Conns are great horns. You would hard pressed to find anything better at that price.

I'm also in the Highlands. Are you related to the great Babe. I have an almost mint condition Conn 10M for sale. Call me at 541-4053 if you would like to try it.
