    JL-I figure that you have to know more than I do so I dug around the reeds I have and found a RG3S and an Orange Box 3. Never could play them...

    JL- my bad- got my RSJ and Rigottis mixed up- I meant 2.5L or 2S. Figured I'd try softer because the Reds seemed softer to me.

Biography:
Been playing since 1959 with a lot of lost time. Mostly play for my own enjoyment and stress relief. Play with a "traditional jazz" group about once a month and with a standards singer every couple of months.

Metrowest Boston, MA
Occupation:
Power Electrical Engineer-you'd be surprised how many engineers are sax players!
My Instruments:
The Martin alto-my first real horn in '59-Brillhart 3* and a Meyer 5
The Martin tenor-about 15 years with me- Vandoren V16 HR (also MacSax Aura, Runyon Custom 8, and Metalite M7)
Maxtone straight soprano (don't laugh-it is a keeper)-Graftonite B5
