scholarship student on oboe and sax at the Blair School of Music in Nashville, played in the Nashville Youth Symphony studied oboe with Bobby Taylor and Dewayne Pigg. Was a member of the TN All-State Band & Orchestra, and a member of the NBA Honor's Band. Studied oboe 1yr at St Louis Conservatory with Peter Bowman, majored in Music Performance at MTSU for 2yrs, stuying with Bobby Taylor and Dewayne Pigg; changed major to Nursing recieved an ADN in 1985, and a BSN in 1990, have been an RN since 1985. Started playing in Nashville Rock n Roll bands in Feb 2002.
