Sax on the Web Portal - Dexter Gordon in Finland 1971

  • Dexter Gordon in Finland 1971

As a young guy I was lucky to meet and photograph Dexter Gordon when he was playing a gig in Finland, Vaasa Youth Festival on 19 June 1971. Dexter is still one of my favorite sax players.

More jazzy pictures from the festival in my blog: http://wp.me/p1jVlh-f2.

Re: Payment for rainouts? Is there an industry standard

Finding out in advance is the key here. It's a different matter if you and the band show up ready to play, or even start playing, then get rained out. That's where I would still expect to get paid.
