    As far as the 10 facing being around .100, that is just the system that Runyon used. They had a lot more choices of openings than most makers and had a slightly smaller interval between facing sizes.

    Funny you mention it. I am of the opinion that sax players should keep a few "standard" mouthpieces on hand for just these occasions: a good Link (for tenor), plus a good Meyer and Selmer S-80 type...
