My father is thinking of picking up an M-Audio ProKeys 88sx keyboard for use at home. Any word on this brand?

I've got a Usb keystation 61.
Works fine.
Zero problems.

I bought one last spring and had my piano player friend test drive it. He was knocked out by its feel and sounds--for the price. I paid just under $300 plus $25 shipping. http://www.powermax.com/product/M-Audio_ProKeys_88sx_Performance_Piano/dv-mau-9900-41309-00.html

I am not a piano player, so I am very happy with it. Full-sized good-feeling keys, great sounds (just 7 or 8), very light, USB direct to computer.

You can't split the keyboard into different layers like it's big brother, and it doesn't have a bass sound (like the 88 pro), but those didn't justify paying double the price for me.

Keyboard Mag did a review on in May or so and rated it highly.

I have its big brother, the ProKeys 88, and I love the instrument. It's held up well, the sounds (especially the pianos) are quite good for the money. Touch is good. I likey a lot!
