I've been using Bari reeds on bari sax for years. I play a Berg 115/0 and use Bari Soft reeds. They really project, and of course never warp. I tried a Hahn 2.5 but I liked the Bari reeds better. BTW I can play on one for about a year (playing 2-3 week + practicing)! Then I feel like I better buy another, so now I have about 5 reeds to choose from and they all still play fine.
I play BARI* mediums with a Yani 992 and Lamberson 7sb mpc. I find that they play great after about a 2 week break-in of playing every day. The break-in period is frustrating because during this time they kill my lip and shorten my endurance for long practice sessions but once broken in they are wonderful. I can play a full dynamic range with good intonation.
I play a Lawton 8* on bari sax and use Bari* Hards--they last a l-o-n-g time! Sound is LARGE. I don't think these reeds ever give up! Very consistent-long playing reeds!
Well, I've got my BARI reed from band camp last year, if that's any indication of how long they last, and I've been using it on a Runyon Smoothbore with a good, edgy sound.
