Default Alexander Superial vs Hemke

Which has more dark & rich sound for tenor?

In my opinion, between these two choices, the Superial does (more rich).

I think the other Superial flavors (DC and Classique) are both darker than the "plain" Superial. For me, though, I don't like them as well for other reasons (I play "plain" Superials ).

The Superials definitely produce a richer sound. I found Hemkes to be too stuffy sounding. DC's and Classiques are darker than the Superials. I personally prefer Superials for its rich tone with some buzz.

Tears June-

I've played RSJ's and found them brighter than Superials. IMHO, Superials are the better reed, they just play better and are more consistent.
