Coltrane - "One Up, One Down"
I figured out the melody (from the Impulse! Recordings version, and I think I have the chords.
It seems to be a AABA modal tune. For those who have heard or and/or transcribed any of it, did you get concert Eb- (minor) for the A section and concert Db- (minor) for the B section?

Ok, well I came to the conclusion that's it's just a AABA minor to minor tune.
So for those of you who are curious about this tune, there you have it (of course, those are just the bare basic chords. McCoy obviously added a ton of more chords to make it sound more interesting... but for us non jazz legends, the basics should tide us over lol)

You're right with the form. But it's not a minor tune.
It's actually based on the augmented scale. This scale is made up of three major triads an major third apart.
The way Coltrane uses it makes it a pretty unique chord. The theme he plays is an augmented chord with natural 4.
In Bb the scale is
Bb. B,D,Eb,F#,G,
This contains G,B and Eb major triads.
Hope that helps
