Default PLEASE HELP

Hello, I am looking for Charpen Reeds Zise 3 the French Cut. Ive called over 100 music stores in new york and ive had no luck

Just grab any reed and drill it yourself, it has the same effect as a Charpen reed. Check out the reed drilling thread above.

Drilling reeds is really simple, Charpen reeds haven't been made for years. It may be your only choice.

Bootman, have you noticed any difference in results when drilling filed versus unfiled reeds?

No difference at all. The drilled la Voz or single cut reeds (Charpen style) play well as do the drilled French or Double cut reeds. It is more to do with which style or cut of reed works best on a given mpc.
