Default Sax and Concert Band?

I'm needing a song for Solo Alto Saxophone and Band Accompaniment, any suggestions are appreciated. The band is an advanced high school band, and i'm an advanced high school/beginning/intermediate college (All Southern, Sonata by Eccles, Tableaux by Maurice minus the Fifth Movement, heh, i'm not all that hot). I need something that shows off lyrical skills but has some good technical passages as well

Thanks for the help guys

A great piece for you is Paul Creston's " Concerto for Alto Sax and Band/ Orchestra". The most common way that it is sold is with piano accompaniment, but If you can get a hold of Dale Underwood ( I have a recording of him performing the piece) I'm sure he could point you in the right direction to get the full score.
Another great new piece is called "Saphire" The Symphonic Winds at Boise State University performed and recorded it with Lynn Klock on Alto this past Spring. If you email me and keep in touch, I might be able to point you to the person to get a recording and score for it.
Both of these pieces are very challenging and are college+ level solos.

Schsax,
both of these pieces are classical in nature You havent heard them, have you. They are difficult and maybe they are something towork up too, but as I said they are both classical pieces, not Jazz or anything else like that.

I've heard of them, and that's why i say i could not attempt them. the creston is standard college literature, something that i could not attempt at my level of musical development. i admit i've never heard of this sapphire one, but from the sounds of it it might be over my head too. Sorry for the misunderstanding
