Allora Saxophones

One day it would be nice to find a clip of someone playing the wwbw Allora Paris series saxophones. I know about the one video with Greg in it, but that's only an alto. I would like to see the tenor and bari be played also.

Well, buy a couple and make a video. If you don't like them send them back for a refund, minus shipping cost. That's the great thing about WWBW! Then we'll all know what they sound like! Thanks in advance!

This is a confusing thread because the OP opened it in 2003 so all the B & S comments are obsolete. While the Allora name may still be around (?) they are surely manufactured elsewhere now.

Yes, only a few Allora saxes were made by B&S. The vast majority are and were made in China or Taiwan. The Allora name is owned by the Woodwind & Brasswind company. Allora is stenciled on their horns by whichever factory is building their saxophones that year. I agree this is a confusing thread. Many people who are looking at the Alloras at WWBW come to Sax on the Web for more information and end up here in the B&S area.
