Okay, people keep asking for it, and I wanted it myself.... so...

I converted this by transposing from the midi file.

    Eb (Alto/Bari Sax)
    http://users.757.org/~ethan/music_sa...ltoBariSax.pdf

    Bb (Tenor Sax)
    http://users.757.org/~ethan/music_sa...rSaxophone.pdf

    MIDI file it came from
    http://users.757.org/~ethan/music_sa...ss-onestep.mid

A quick look at the Eb transposition ... it looked like there might be notes too high, but whatever.

    Feel free to comment.

I'm planning to do this with more files, I'm probably going to start my own thread.

Perhaps a page/site where PDF's of Rock and Roll transcriptions can be downloaded from?

I know that no good deed goes unpunished but I would be willing to help set it up.

I would like to have the Madness music (One step beyond) starting with low D-F-A G-G-F-G-F-D...can anyone help? I did find some easy sheetmusic, but when I listen to the original I noticed lots of nice solos not being on this sheetmusic and a bit too fast for me to hear.

Please send a copy to den.houting@chello.nl. I would be most greatful!

You people are killing me. Buy the CD, support the artist (and unfortunately the record company), listen to it, and play it. There is nothing difficult about these horn lines. I can understand being tied to the written page, I used to be that guy. But it really is quite liberating to grow an ear and be able to use it.

Try it, you might like it.

    Cheers,

Its on this site along with sax parts for loads of other pieces, its been written as an alto part so tenor players will need to transpose it http://www.ease.com.au/sax/

    Hi guys,
Firstly I'm so sorry to bring back this ancient thread but I was wondering if someone could send me the music for this?
I've worked out some bits by ear but there are parts of it that I cannot get my head around at all!
I also tried that midi file link thing and my computer just did not like it..
    Sorry to do this!
