Default Carved wood sax and flute stands/sculptures

A friend of mine has just completed the following sculptures/display stands for sax and flute. I thought I'd post them here just to get some feedback on what people think?

For anyone interested they are carved from lime (though I believe the fingers on the flute stand may be a different wood).

Your friend has exceptional talent. From the looks of the sax "holder," I'm not sure I would entrust my sax to it. It looks too insecure. As a work of art, however, kudos to your friend.
