    Default Can you pickup a a Sop under 1000.00

    I am somewhere between beginner and intermediate player.
    Currently play a YTS 62 and a have TAS 475
    Would like to pick up a Sop. can i get a nice playing sop for under 1k us dollar.
    thanks. I do have to say most of the time i tend to pick up the tenor.

    I think so, I would recommend a bauhaus walstein. I've not come across anything that comes close for the price.

    How about either of the 2 unison sops in the Marketplace here? Both from well-regarded members. Both under $1000...

    I can vouch for the unison that 10mfan is selling. It really is a great playing horn and a complete steal at that price.

    I purchased one of the RS Berkley Sopranos from USA Horns last fall, for well less than $1k. It plays decently. The intonation of the palm key notes in the upper register is not as good as the low register on my horn.

    The horn and I have now logged over 20k miles; sure beats carrying a tenor or Bari around the airport!!!

    I have a pro model CE Curved soprano unlacquered for sale in the marketplace that plays fantastic and is in excellent condition.
