So nice...a treat to hear Michael playing with just a pianist. He's leaves a lot of space and is very tasteful and melodic throughout...beautiful!!! I'd never seen this one, so many thanks for sharing...
I got really into Brecker's playing around 82, while the early to mid 80s was a great period musically it's amazing the way Michael's playing continued to evolve and refine over the years...I think he became a more patient improvisor.

It does make you wonder why he never issued an album with standards, although it might have been on his radar and he sadly simply never got around to it.
