3M 200MP adhesive safe as mouthpiece patch?

I recently bought some house brand mouthpiece patches from a local store.
On the back I see that it's a 3M 200MP adhesive.
I have some doubts on whether this was meant for this type of use (couldn't find any info).
There's a "scotch tape" odor and taste to it and I'm feeling a bit queezy right now. Maybe this is just psycho-synmatic....

I'm absolutely sure it was not produced to be made into mouthpiece patches. Tech sheets for adhesive tapes usually specify that for the use they are intended for, there are no health risks, however Scotch don't make adhesive tapes expecting people to put them in or near their mouths.

Having said that, I use electrical tape for mouthpiece patches and don't appear to have suffered any bad side eff……...
