WTB: Curved neck fitting Yanagisawa S880/S990

I have a straight neck I like, but I'm interested in trying a curved neck to fit a Yanagisawa S880 or S990. I think these are the same fittings. With these horns octave key lever extends beyond the flange over the tenon. the lever of the octave key on S991 models stops over the flange.

Here is a pic of what I need.



At the right (very low) price, I might even consider a Yanagisawa copy neck. Color and material are not important to me. I think all of these are going to be brass anyway.

I am still looking for a curved neck with a curve similar to the original Yanagisawa neck pictured above.

Thanks for the suggestion, eugeneherman. I already contacted rasax. He has 3 very nice necks, but they have a lot more bend than the Yanagisawa or copy for which I’m looking. They have enough bend that I think they might work well on a curved soprano.

I actually already have a neck with this much bend, and I have the original straight neck. Both play well, but differently. I wanted to try something in between, like the original curved neck.

OK, I borrowed a Yanagisawa S991-copy semi-curved neck and figured out how to extend my octave mechanism. I really liked the sound and the feel, even with the copy. So, I am now looking for any semi-curved neck that will fit a Yanagisawa, not just the S880 or S990.

Do you have a semi-curved neck (like the picture above) that you don’t use?

Hi twocircles, my Crescent sop curved necks are interchangeable with Yanagisawa 991/992 necks (I sell them with Yana necks as an aftermarket option). They're goldplated, a little darker than 991 necks, and some players prefer them to Yana. Player ability level doesn't seem to have much to do with who prefers original vs Yana.

I have plenty of curved, and could do something like send you three (prepaid, then send two -- or all three -- back to me undamaged for the appropriate refund).

$79 would be OK if you want to trial just one, $95 if you want to do the three neck trial (the trial is more work for me to do).
