I'm putting up for sale my 1954 "The Martin" tenor saxophone with matching neck just back from service. 193xxx.
It has about 60% of the original lacquer remaining. The thumb hook has been upgraded. The pads (minus 1 - on the D key) are a unique black deerskin pad developed by the same guy who made the thumb hook.
There has been a good amount of work done in it's life - dent work and resoldering. Nevertheless, it plays with the same force this model is known for. It's been a lot of fun in the rock and big bands. I'd keep it if I could. More pictures available on request.
$1200 plus shipping
PM me if interested. I have it on the local craigslist as well.
