Default FS: YANI Bronze Tenor Neck, YAMAHA G1 Alto Neck

YANAGISAWA T92 Underslung Bronze Tenor Neck...$250

Purchased new from Kessler Music. It has very little use, but the tenon was replaced with a new tenon because the original had been expanded to fit an old Mark VI. As a result, there is a small ring of lacquer bleed at the base of the neck. Other than this cosmetic blemish, the neck is in like new condition.

YAMAHA G1 Gold Lacquer Alto Neck...$145

This is in nearly new condition.

    Necks ship from Oregon.

    Pics available by email.

    Hi Navaport
G1 neck arrives one day earlier than promise. It is extra clean and nice.
    Thanks,

The tenon swap on the Yani neck was expertly done by Tony Bigham in the SF Bay Area. His work is well worth checking out. He also improved the playability of another neck by repositioning an off-center tenon on that one. Here are a couple more pics that focus on the area of the work. The minimal lacquer bleed is from the heat needed to do the solder. For $215 I'll include shipping in the US 48.

In response to some inquiries, the outer diameter of the tenon is 27.5 inches. This neck has fit well with a late model Mark VI, a Selmer Series II, an early 80's Selmer USA, and a Berkeley Virtuoso.
Seems to be the same size as the new Tenor Madness neck I tried as well.

Novaport is great to deal with. I got the Yani neck and it was well packed and really nice. It also fit my Mark VI like it was made for it. If anybody is interested, a Yani neck on a Mark VI is an outstanding combination. It really added great complexity and richness to my tone and also solved my altissimo issues on that particular horn! As an added bonus, it looks really cool!
