King Zephyr Bari I bought on Ebay... deal or no deal?

Ok so it was less than I expected and the only issue is it mentioned the neck is pulled down a little. I see some of the vintage baris selling for $1k-$3k and this will be mine for under $800. I have a King Zephyr tenor from around the same era 400k while this bari is 396k. The Zephyr tenor is one of my favorites and is there any reason to think this bari won't be as nice?

Never played bari before but I figure it might be a useful tool for the band I'm in that plays rock, fun and jazz sort of stuff. Is a bari an easy transition from tenor?

Price seems reasonable but you won't know for sure until you get it and see how it plays and how much work it may need. There have been a lot of good deals on ebay lately wondering if folks are trying to sell some stuff off to pay their taxes or something.

I think you got a pretty good deal, when setup correctly these are monster players, maybe factor in a brief visit to a tech...

Yeah I plan on springing for a setup at least on this. Hopefully the pads are good as the seller mentions.

Looks very similar to my very first bari. These are quite possibly the best rock horns out there.

Fix that neck! I find it to be a significant factor on Zephyr baris. They are great players...get a Metalite and rock-out!
