Question Looking for Quartet and Trio arrangements

I'm a member of a sax quartet that performs at church a few times a year. We'd play more often if we could find arrangements instead of having to create our own. Do any of you have recommended sources, or any of yours to share? Or maybe suggestions/tips for arranging? We typically play SATB, AATB, or SAAT. (FWIW, I'd rate three of us as "amateurs", and our 2nd alto as "novice".) Thanks.

I'm a big fan of bringing the business to your local music store, however for specific requirements like a saxophone quartet I'd spend some time searching the J.W. Pepper website - www.jwpepper.com. I think you'll find a lot of saxophone quartet music there.

A suggestion on navigating their website: I'd simply type "saxophone quartet" into their search field, and then filter the results with "style" "sacred".

Best wishes with your saxophone quartet!

The arrangements of Shenandoah and Suo Gan are keepers and work in church settings. There are actually a good number of decent arrangements there.

Also, http://www.4a4quartet.com//combo-Quartet.html Not free, but convenient and reasonably priced. I only tried one of their trio arrangements (Telemann) but it was good.

Thanks. I kept Googling, and found www.free-scores.com and http://www.scoreexchange.com, they had a few that I've downloaded for us to try out.

We do the same thing. The Clarinet Institute has a DVD of sax music (pdfs of arrangements) for about $12. Some of it's pretty good. Mostly quartets. Try http://www.clarinetinstitute.com/443...20Archives.htm
