Dex and jazzsaxtenor on YouTube (Aubra Graves), Lester.
... love Jr. & Maceo.. Gordon Beadle.
I wish King Curtis was playing today, no one would touch him.
My wife, whose ears I trust, said that my sound is much fuller, richer, more powerful and resonant on this set up.
... but really folks... my wife said, " It sounds like a saxophone ".

Sad part is, King Curtis was playing in a small club in my hometown when I was in grade school. I'll always remember seeing his name on the marquee outside but I was much too young to go in and hear him. He is definitely in my top list of players also, especially in the r&b and soul genres .
Alto: Jesse Davis,Cannonball,Sonny Stitt

I think I would like to add Sal Lozano to my list.
I play saxophone softly and carry a big lacrosse stick.
Plas Johnson, Jr. Walker, Red Prysok, Sil Austin, Lee Allen and King Curtis.
