I am livin in Korea(not North!!! lol) and a big fan of Kenny Garrett.

I can't afford to get Mark VI in high price(over $6,000)

I will be waiting for your best reponse

Does a Mk VI exist in your area for that price? If so, what is it's condition? Is this a realistic comparison or fantasy?

Didn't you just get a new horn?
    Go for The Tone,

I assume you're talking altos...The VI is probably the better financial decision. The better musical decision cannot be determined until you try out the two examples for yourself.

Good modern altos are better than most MkVIs (altos) if playing music is your priority. I'm not speaking of all other collector, historical or sentimental values they might represent.
Go for a used Yamy if you can. If one day you stumble over an irresistible MkVI (but make sure it really is), you'll sell your Yamy almost without loss. And in the meantime, enjoy one of the best altos available.

    Dr G,

    You remember me?? wow!!

Sam Ash sent me wrong model and I decided to return the horn so that I will get the refund.
