Jim Dougherty wrote the tune, Chizmo Charles singing...I was playing bari (Couf/Keilwerth w/Guardala King R&B mp) sax solo is Kenny Blake, also on this was Danny Donahoe trumpet & Robbie Klein tenor...this horn section is also on a bunch of stuff recorded at the BoneYard studio...Piney Brown, and a bunch more.

Fine'... no Coda
Nice work, Hurricane rocks. Could work over here easy. K
Take what you love to do and do it in a place where it benefits the most people.
Bands I gig with are http://www.myspace.com/jamijamisonband,www.thewhiskeythieves.com/, The Joe Chaplain Band, and my webpage is http://ksaxman.com/
that's exactly what modre meant with "fine, no coda". he goes way back here and on other forums, haven't seen him in a while. modre is very good when it comes to music theory, one of the best. I just found the thread, and I liked Hurricane too......kewl.
nice work, modre...as always

I saw my stuff was being reposted in India & France...maybe more, and I also saw this site eliminated "edit" after a post, so...not liking the "grabby" nature of SOTW assuming every marble on this table is theirs, I felt I should secure copyrights on the newer stuff before I felt comfy putting it "out there". The last time I bothered to copyright anything was 1984-5 & 88. 2012 is a whole different animal.
...all is well now...enjoy some fresh creativity.
Good to see ya back again....been far too long.

Nice to see Modre back. I remember some interesting discussions on the old SOTW (pre 2003).
thanks guys for the nice words.
