    Default Martin serial #s

    Can any of you Martin experts decipher this number 111677 its from a Hand Craft Imperial. Early thirties? Thanks in advance. Lp

    Serial numbers, model details, photos, etc.
    I have one of each model of the altos and find the HC Imps to be a good blend of the early and later models. I have a HC Imperial tenor that is great too. One oddity is the alt. Eb is on the front of the horn and a direct linkage rather than the rear Eb with the articulated lever.
